Diana Plater is a journalist, writer, teacher and consultant based in Sydney, Australia.
Diana's 40-year media career has included being Travel Editor at Australian Associated Press as well as Western Australia Bureau Chief and chief Features Writer, a member of the Sydney Morning Herald's Canberra press gallery bureau, The Age and USA Today's stringer in Central America, a producer and trainer of Indigenous journalists and a lecturer in journalism at the University of Sydney.
She is the author of several non-fiction books, including the memoir, Raging Partners, written with Ollie Smith, which was shortlisted for a New South Wales Premier's Literary Award.
As well as writing a travel blog with a difference: Landscapes, found on www.dianaplater.com, Diana writes regularly on the arts, entertainment, travel and other areas for a range of media.
