Communication Studies

Communication Studies is an academic journal that publishes papers in the field of communication. They only publish writing that's free of sexism and other biases. Formerly known as the Central States Speech Journal, the publication was founded in 1948 at the University of Houston School of Communication. It is the official publication of the university's School of Communication.

Individuals may subscribe only to the print edition. Institutions have a choice of subscribing to both the print and online edition or the online edition by itself. Interested readers may download a free PDF sample. Writers published in Communication Studies include Kimberly A. Powell, Ann Bainbridge Frymier and Traci L. Anderson.
