One of the main ways the news is distributed is through broadcasting. Broadcast is either live or pre-taped television or radio circulation. Its main focus is the ability to get the message to the listeners or viewers in the most efficient and effective way possible. Since the origination of broadcasting, journalism has evolved to a more up-to-speed news outlet for the public, allowing them to receive their news in a timely fashion.
There are multiple ways that firms receive the financial support they need in order to broadcast continuously. Publicly owned stations tend to be supported by various funding including grants, membership feeds, and licensing fees. The most commonly seen form of broadcasting is commercial, which is funded off selling air time to advertisers who advertise during multiple breaks during the programming.
