Call-In

Some publications use the phrase "call-in" when they refer to withdrawing or taking something out of circulation. The term would be considered journalism jargon and not all publications actually use it to refer to the matter at hand. Various articles or videos may need to be called-in if they find issues with the information or if there was a change in circumstances involving the original initiative. In order to call-in a piece, there has to be a significant reason as to why it needs to be done before any action can be taken.
