Cameraman

Those who operate the cameras in order to help relay news stories and information are cameramen. They operate the outlining and filming of the scenes, as well as some of their own editing. Either as freelance or hired on with a corporation, they work in all types of situations in order to capture the best footage available including sporting events or political speeches. With specialized training, they are prepared to take on any challenges with lighting or effects as well. Some cameramen even help operate the equipment running in the live news broadcasts as well. It takes a lot of patience and endurance, but the results are something the entire world can see.
