Comics are known to take up a special section of newspapers, being an audience favorite for generations. They consist of illustrations, text, and a short story, otherwise called a comic strip. Comic artists are able to portray everything from important social issues to light-hearted fun in a short, multi-framed cartoon. They became so popular that they eventually became published in entire books dedicated to telling stories in a comic format. Most newspaper comics are known to be humorous, with recurring characters that audiences come back for.
