Content Manager

A content manager runs website content and organizes reports. They help create and develop the publication's entire online presence, as well as coordinates a number of projects throughout different departments. They check through and edit all material before it is published online and they keep track of all website metrics for reporting purposes. Content managers need to constantly keep updated with all of the new online technologies in order to keep their company's websites relevant and important. They also oversee numerous freelancers so communication skills are crucial. Most publications want their content managers to run outreach movements and to establish online marketing as well.
