Reports are full informational accounts on certain topics or events. Most reports include investigative information and have a goal to sway audiences one way or another. They include full charts, analyses, tables, figures, pictures, references, and more in order to go into depth on the subject matter at hand. Some are even used as criminal evidence during crime investigations. Whether they are public or private, reports are made with the precise purpose to inform the public and bring information to light, much like investigative journalism.
