Jschool Brisbane (Australia)
Jschool helps young people develop the skills they need to find entry level positions in journalism and other media and communications related fields. This college of journalism was established in 2001 and offers students a Diploma of Journalism. The program is run by professional and experienced journalists, as well as experts in economics, politics and the arts. The Diploma of Journalism offers courses in a variety of topics, both in journalism and in other fields that help give students a broader background in the humanities. In addition to theoretical studies, students are provided with skills in writing, news reporting and shorthand. Students may pursue the Diploma of Journalism on its own or combine it with another degree offered by the university.
