International Press Center (Denmark)

The International Press Center conducts its business out of Denmark. The organization's goal is to promote and improve communication between the media members in Denmark and foreign reporters working on location. They also lend assistance to visiting journalists by doing things like providing workspace and meeting facilities, assisting with the coordination of interviews with local businesses or politicians for specific stories, planning visitation trips for journalists and providing assistance in the gathering of data and news information. The IPS is also available to help visiting journalists obtain international press card credentials that are needed throughout Europe. The IPC is funded through the Danish government with donations coming in from the Foreign Press Association.
